Lactation Cookies

Lactation cookies: the perfect gift for your favourite mama!

Recipe:

1 cup flour (whole wheat, rice, or coconut)

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/3 cup coconut oil

3/4 cup coconut sugar

2 tablespoons ground flaxseed

1 egg

4 tbsp water, milk, or non-dairy substitute (depends on how moist you prefer the cookies to be)

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons of brewers yeast (note: this is the secret ingredient that actually makes these lactation cookies and stimulates milk production!*)

1/2 teaspoon salt 1 & 1/4 cup oats – organic, steel cut oats

Pumpkin seeds, chocolate chips, walnuts, or anything else you'd like to add :)

Bake at 350 degrees Farenheit for about 20 minutes
